The Aegis Light Assault Vest system consists of two advanced features: the Single Tension Release mechanism and an easy don/doff design. The easy don/doff feature allows the user to slide the vest on and off over the head, even with a combat load, while the STR release device design allows for efficient quick release. This unique light assault vest system has optional components that allow the user to add or remove armor components and is designed to fit the military’s SPEAR cut ballistic shapes.
